The word of God is living and active; it sifts the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Hebrews 4.12

All are welcome to join us for a service of Holy Baptism this Sunday at 11:00 AM at St. James' Anglican Church in the Parish of  Chaleur Bay! Baptism is a wonderful time to welcome a new Christian into the body of faith, and so I would encourage as many of you as are able to come out and surround the newly baptized with your prayers and support. Whether you have joined us often, or are coming for the first time you are welcome in our midst!

This Sunday we will be looking at the parable of the unjust judge, as Jesus teaches us to pray and not lose hope. With the Prophet Jeremiah we are reminded that the God we worship is a God who loves us. Our relationship with God is one of trust. With St. Paul we are reminded to keep the faith handed down to us, and to be persisent. With the Psalmist we learn how beautiful the word of God is, and helpful in transforming our lives.
