As we head into a new school year, the Parish of Chaleur Bay extends an invitation to all students, teachers, and other educators and school administrators to a special service of prayer with a Blessing of the Backpacks. Children are invited to bring their backpacks or book bags. Teachers and other educators are invited to bring their briefcase, laptop, or mobile device - whatever best symbolizes the school year for you - and we will together, as a community of faith, ask God's blessing on the new year of learning & teaching.
The service begins at 11: 00 at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Shigawake.
