  \n It is an important time of year\, as students and teachers head into
  another year of learning. There will be challenges ahead\, and as a peopl
 e of prayer we would like to take time to surround the children\, teachers
 \, and families of our communities with God's blessings. Taking time out o
 f our lives to give thanks for what we have already received ~ in particul
 ar for the gift of our young people and what each on of them brings to the
  life of our communities ~ and to invite the "courage and love of Jesus" a
 nd the presence of the Holy Spirit to be with each one of them. \nIt is t
 herefore my great honour to invite all the students\, families\, and teach
 ers of the Parishes of New Carlisle and Chaleur Bay to our services of wor
 ship this Sunday\, which will be celebrated with a Blessing of the Backpa
 cks. Students may bring their backpacks\, teachers may also wish to bring
  along a particular item that symbolizes their work\, to ask God's blessin
 g for the coming year. \nQue personne ne méprise ta jeunesse\, mais sois
  un modèle pour les croyants\, en parole\, en conduite\, en amour\, en fo
 i\, en pureté. ~ 1 Timothée 4\,12\nC’est une période importante de l
 ’année\, alors que les élèves et les enseignants s’apprêtent à en
 tamer une nouvelle année d’apprentissage. Des défis nous attendent\, e
 t en tant que peuple de prière\, nous souhaitons prendre le temps d’ent
 ourer les enfants\, les enseignants et les familles de nos communautés de
 s bénédictions de Dieu. Prendre le temps de rendre grâce pour ce que no
 us avons déjà reçu — en particulier pour le don que représentent nos
  jeunes et ce que chacun d’entre eux apporte à la vie de nos communaut
 és — et d’inviter le « courage et l’amour de Jésus » ainsi que l
 a présence du Saint-Esprit à accompagner chacun d’entre eux.\nC’est 
 donc pour moi un grand honneur d’inviter tous les élèves\, les famille
 s et les enseignants des paroisses de New Carlisle et de Chaleur Bay à no
 s services religieux de ce dimanche\, qui seront célébrés avec une bén
 édiction des sacs à dos. Les élèves peuvent apporter leurs sacs à dos
 \; les enseignants peuvent également apporter un objet particulier symbol
 isant leur travail\, afin de demander la bénédiction de Dieu pour l’an
 née à venir.
